Overview

The Food POS is a table booking point of sale system for restaurants. When checking out, the cashier can book a table for dine-in customers or choose the takeaway option directly. The system is packed with fundamental features to tackle any unknown scenarios and facilitate the fast pace transactions.

Features

• 3 Unique iOS Screens

• Free style guide

• Works in Figma

• Fully editable

• Well organized

• Carefully Grouped & Named Layers

Strategy

The goal was to design a flexible interface that integrated all the necessary features without overwhelming the new user with information overload. Cashiers can go incredibly fast while making transactions. Hence, the interface should be designed in a way to reduce time delays while navigating. Delivering a refined product into the market was the preferred option. POS being the extensively used system for repeated tasks, changing the interface after a couple of months may have affected the spatial memory of the user.
